The problem
Sparrow Labs' velocity had become a political conversation. Engineering managers debated the same "what counts as done?" question every quarter, and the answer was always lost in a spreadsheet that nobody updated.
How TechSync fit in
Adopted TechSync cycles with mandatory rollover reasons and post-cycle slippage reports. Velocity is still a number, but now it's a number everybody sees the same way, and the rollover reasons make the "why" legible without anyone defending themselves.
Today
