- Can we switch between monthly and annual?
- Yes, any time from Workspace Settings → Billing. Annual is ~22% cheaper than monthly. Mid-cycle switches are prorated.
- What counts as a seat?
- Any human member of your workspace who has logged in in the last 30 days. Guests (view-only) and bots do not count as seats.
- Do you offer education or nonprofit discounts?
- Yes — 50% off Team and Business tiers for verified educational institutions and registered nonprofits. Email hello@techsync.io with proof of status.
- What if we go over our seat count?
- Starter caps hard at 3 seats — the 4th login prompts an upgrade. Team/Business overages are invoiced at the per-seat rate on the next cycle, with a 10-seat grace buffer.
- How does billing work for mid-cycle changes?
- Seat adds are prorated to the day. Seat removals take effect at the next renewal — we do not refund mid-cycle removals.
- Is there a free trial for paid tiers?
- Yes — Team and Business both have a 14-day free trial with a full feature set. No credit card required.
